Shine Your Light Podcast

What is the Shine Your Light Podcast?

Shine Your Light tells stories of transformation and divine connection, in its many manifestations. We dive deep into the experiences of people who uncovered their inner light through energy healing, artistry, music, by surviving major health issues, and other obstacles and avenues. Many of our guests have been on a spiritual journey for decades, others are new to their inner light but most have faced serious personal challenges and come out the other side with a new outlook on themselves, a realization of unconditional divine love that exists within each of us — the inner light — and on existence as a whole.

Ep 1 - Jules de Gasperis

Jules de Gasparis, joining us from Southern California, is a musician, a recording artist, and an international DJ. He tells us about the time he spent in Belize among the Awavena tribe in the Amazon and gives us a raw look at his first time medicine journey and resulting life-changing experiences.

Ep 2 - Ed Thrall

Ed is a master energy healer, a breathwork coach and trainer, and a former teacher at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Science. Through years of experimentation with various methods, Ed created his own breathwork method which helps his clients experience deep, meditative relaxation and has physical and psychological benefits. When he’s not practicing breathwork or energy healing, Ed is an insurance salesman and tells us about his spiritual journey and balancing everyday life with his more esoteric practices.

Ep 3 - Monica

Today on Shine Your Light We’re going remote to sunny St. John in the US Virgin Islands! Gil joins Monika, a yoga guide, former fashion model and documentary producer, at her home on Bordeaux Mountain, while Stacie joins on Zoom. Monika talks about her journey that began in Poland and continued in Brazil and that resulted in many unexpected incarnations along the way. She tells how a major crisis awakened her and how through total acceptance and divine connection, she came out on the other side with a completely fresh outlook on life. Today her passion is sharing a guided Healing Yoga practice with others and helping them shine their light.

Ep 4 - Miriam

On today’s podcast we’re speaking with Miriam, who was diagnosed with stage three endometrial cancer several years ago. To help deal with the side effects of chemotherapy while preparing for the inevitable, Miriam dedicated herself more than ever to her practice of positive thinking and self-love. Looking back, she is certain she would not have recovered without her spiritual practice. When Miriam suffered a brain aneurysm a decade later, she knew the only way to get her health back was to recommit herself to the practice. Today she meditates daily and, through diet, exercise and positive affirmations, has lost 100 lbs. and is as healthy as ever. Miriam is excited to share her story of the power of self-love with those recovering from illness, and anyone who wants to live with more inner peace and joy.

Ep 5 - Thomas Fields

From the Garage to Shark Tank” a quote from Thomas Fields’ website pretty much sums up his incredible journey. The creator of Grind (grindbasketball.com), an innovative shooting machine for basketball players, at age 19 Thomas started out by “slowly turning his love for the game of basketball into an obsession,” until he manifested his dream. In this episode we dive deep with Thomas, one of five siblings, and the son of hardworking parents, and find out how he consistently lead his successful endeavor with love in his heart and ample sweat on his brow. Challenges including overcoming health issues and recovery from severe ACL injuries, turned out to be part of his inspiration to create Grind Basketball, and to inspire other young people to follow their dreams and shine their light in the face of obstacles.
